The fee to register an LPA is currently £92 per document (as of November 2025). If registering both a Property & Financial Affairs LPA and a Health & Welfare LPA, the total cost is £184. Fee exemptions may apply for those on a low income or receiving certain benefits.
Before registering, you must notify the relevant people as per government guidelines. If there are mistakes on your application, the OPG may allow you to correct them and reapply within three months for an additional fee of £46.
