A group of 30 talented Year 9 and Year 10 cricketers from Warwick School recently went on an exciting overseas tour to Sri Lanka. They were able to play friendly matches against local school teams at some of the country's most iconic cricket stadiums, such as The Royal College ground, The P.Sara Oval, Bloomfield Cricket Club and The Asgiriya Stadium.

Thanks to sponsorship from TFS, the boys were kitted with smart new polo shirts and cricket bags for the tour. Despite some worries about facing Sri Lanka's gifted young cricketers on their home turf, the Warwick School lads proved more than a match and even secured some hard-fought wins.

The boys also helped out with some brilliant community service work at The Deaf and Blind School in Sri Lanka, having already raised funds for the school before their departure.

Not only were the students testing their cricketing abilities against talented opposition, but they were also proud to give back to the communities in Sri Lanka. This is a trip that will have created life-lasting memories for the boys, and Thomas Flavell and Sons are proud to have shown our support.

Take a look at some photos of the boys on their trip.
