Thomas Flavell & Sons are excited to announce the launch of the first Leamington Spa Legal Walk, raising money for The Access to Justice Foundation. We're inviting all local law firms to join us on Monday 8th June from 5pm at the Leamington Justice Centre for a 5km walk through the beautiful parks and gardens of Leamington Spa. We'll finish at a local pub for drinks and networking.
Let's see how much money we can raise to support The Access to Justice Foundation. Every year, over 34 million people in England and Wales face a legal problem, for 11 million of our neighbours, colleagues, and community members, the help needed to resolve these issues never comes. Most people in England and Wales don’t have access to a local provider of free advice in the areas where they need it most: housing, immigration, welfare benefits, education, and community care. Those most in need can’t access the legal advice that could keep them in their homes, protect them from abuse, or secure the benefits they’re entitled to. The Leamington Spa Legal Walk can help support these people.
We would love you and your team to join us on the walk - feel free to wear t-shirts with your firms logo, to show your pride in taking part, and perhaps create a bit of healthy competition - although it's not a race!! We are asking walkers to aim to raise £30 each, and we are also looking for firms who would like to be one of the sponsors of the event. In return for £300, we are able to offer you: your logo on the fundraising page, on marketing emails, and on social media, also recognition in press releases, and a mention in the closing speech. If your firm is interested in being a sponsor, please email lucy.worrall@thomasflavell.co.uk.
To give us an idea of numbers, we are asking you to register your interest, for yourself and other colleagues. Then nearer the time, we will ask for further details, and share the fundraising link. Register your interest here.
