Ruth Deathridge

Ruth joined Thomas Flavell & Sons in May 2025 as an Onboarding and Administrative Assistant in our busy Private Client department. With four years of experience working in Wills and Probate, Ruth brings a wealth of practical knowledge and a calm, client-focused approach to the team.

Before joining us, Ruth worked as a Paralegal at several well-respected local firms, including Headleys Solicitors, Johnson Astills Solicitors, and Michael Hill Partnership. She completed her CILEX Level 3 Paralegal qualification in September 2023 and is incredibly proud of the dedication it took to achieve this milestone – and rightly so!

Though her Accounting & Business Management Level 3 qualification might not directly relate to probate work, it’s a testament to her versatility and analytical thinking – both very handy when navigating the sometimes tricky world of estates and administration.

Ruth is passionate about helping clients feel supported and reassured as they make some of life’s most significant decisions. She thrives on learning and growing in her role and is always seeking ways to improve and better serve those she works with.

Outside of work, Ruth can often be found trying out new foodie spots, planning her next travel adventure, or simply enjoying downtime with friends and family.
