Matthew (Matt) Williets joined TFS in May 2026 as a Solicitor in the Residential Conveyancing Department based at our Leamington Spa office. He specialises in residential property conveyancing and is passionate about providing clients with a positive and reassuring experience throughout what can often be one of life’s most significant milestones.
Matthew has built a varied and extensive professional background over the years, bringing with him a wealth of experience from both legal practice and wider client-focused roles. Prior to joining TFS, he worked across several areas of law before focusing on residential conveyancing, progressing from Legal Secretary and Paralegal roles through to qualifying as a Solicitor in 2021. He has worked at a number of well-established Midlands law firms, developing strong technical knowledge and a practical, personable approach to client care.
He holds a B.A. (Honours) Degree in Criminology & Criminal Justice, completed in 2011, followed by a Master of Laws Degree (LL.M incorporating CPE) in 2013. Matthew completed the Legal Practice Course (LPC) in 2016 and the Solicitor’s Practical Skills Course (PSC) in 2021.
What motivates Matthew most is seeing clients leave the process feeling supported, informed and genuinely satisfied with the service they have received. He takes pride in building lasting relationships with clients and values hearing that they would happily return to the firm in the future.
Outside of work, Matthew enjoys keeping fit and active through running and gym training. One of his proudest personal achievements was completing the 2019 London Marathon. He also enjoys travelling with family, spending time with friends, long walks with his dog Wilson, and the occasional cold pint. Alongside his legal career, Matthew has undertaken a range of volunteering roles over the years, including volunteering with Citizens Advice Bureau and West Midlands Fire Service as a Prevention Advocate Volunteer.
