Lydia joined Thomas Flavell & Sons in January 2026 and is based in our Leamington Spa office, working within the conveyancing department. As a Paralegal, she supports clients through their property matters with care and organisation.
Before joining the firm, Lydia worked as a paralegal at a Stratford-upon-Avon law firm, alongside earlier experience in policy and research, giving her a broad and analytical perspective that she brings to her day-to-day work.
Lydia has a strong academic background, holding a BA in Criminology and Law from Coventry University (2018-2021), followed by the PGDL at Birmingham City University (2021-2022) and the LPC at the University of Law (2022-2024). During her studies, she developed a particular interest in medical ethics, which remains her favourite area of legal study.
One of Lydia’s proudest achievements was working with the American Bar Association during her time at university on death penalty legislation. The work contributed to changes in the legal framework in significant cases - an experience she describes as both meaningful and eye-opening.
Outside of work, Lydia is kept busy by her son, Jude, who takes centre stage at home. When time allows, she is also passionate about travelling and discovering new places. Lydia is a member of The Middle Temple.
