Kate joined Thomas Flavell & Sons in September 2025 as a Senior Associate Solicitor in our Private Client team. With over 16 years’ post-qualification experience, she brings a wealth of knowledge and a reputation for guiding clients with clarity and compassion.
Kate was called to the Bar in 2006 before cross-qualifying as a solicitor in 2009. Since then, she has built her career around helping individuals and families plan for the future and navigate life’s more challenging moments. Before joining TFS, Kate owned and ran her own firm, Davidson Mahon Solicitors, where she gained extensive experience across a broad range of private client work.
Her areas of expertise include wills, powers of attorney, trusts, probate and estate administration, wealth and succession planning, and Court of Protection applications. Kate takes great pride in helping people through difficult times with sensitivity, while also supporting them to plan ahead with confidence and peace of mind.
Outside of work, Kate has a real sense of adventure. In January 2024 she trekked to Everest Base Camp, and she is already training for her next Nepal trek in March 2026. When not preparing for high-altitude challenges, she enjoys art, clay pigeon shooting, keeping fit, and walking her two German Shepherds.
