Humairaa Jamal joined the Property team at Thomas Flavell & Sons in August 2026 and is based at the firm's Hinckley office as a Conveyancing Executive with a focus on Commercial Property.
A Scottish qualified Solicitor, Humairaa graduated from Robert Gordon University with an LLB degree in 2021 before completing her Postgraduate Diploma in Professional Legal Practice at the University of Dundee in 2022. She was admitted as a Solicitor by the Law Society of Scotland in 2024.
Humairaa began her legal career with a two-year traineeship at The Chamber Practice in Dundee, where she gained valuable experience across a range of property matters. She subsequently worked as a Solicitor at Wright, Johnston & Mackenzie LLP in Edinburgh, advising clients primarily on commercial property transactions.
Her areas of expertise include residential sales and purchases, remortgages, leases and wider commercial property matters. She enjoys the variety that property law brings and takes pride in helping clients navigate important transactions with confidence. Building strong relationships with clients is particularly important to her, and she values the trust that leads clients to return for advice time and again.
Humairaa is especially proud of qualifying as a Scottish Solicitor and developing experience across all aspects of property law. She has also successfully transitioned into working within the English legal system while continuing her journey towards dual qualification.
Outside of work, Humairaa enjoys travelling, spending time with family and friends, exploring new cafés and getting outdoors for walks
