Emily Varnom

Emily joined the Residential Conveyancing team at Thomas Flavell & Sons in August 2026 as a Conveyancing Assistant.

Before joining the firm, Emily spent over four and a half years at Band Hatton Button, where she worked as both a Client Relations Assistant and Junior Paralegal. During this time, she gained valuable experience in client care and developed a strong understanding of the conveyancing process, helping clients navigate property transactions from instruction through to completion.

Emily's primary area of expertise is Residential Conveyancing. She enjoys supporting clients throughout their property journey and understands that buying or selling a home can be one of life's most significant and sometimes stressful experiences.

What motivates Emily most is the opportunity to help people during important milestones in their lives. She takes pride in providing support and reassurance to clients during what can often be a complex and demanding process, helping to make their experience as smooth and straightforward as possible.

One of Emily's proudest personal achievements was taking her first solo trip in 2023, travelling to Sri Lanka and the Maldives. The experience allowed her to step outside of her comfort zone, build confidence and independence, and create memories that will stay with her for years to come.

Outside of work, Emily enjoys keeping active and spending quality time with those closest to her. She is a regular gym-goer and enjoys walking and hiking, making the most of opportunities to explore the outdoors. She also values spending time with family and friends, whether that's enjoying days out together or simply catching up over a meal.
