The Business Case for Benefits: What Every Employer Should Know (and Most Don't)

Date: Wednesday 1st July 2026
Time: 9.00am to 10.30am
Venue: Thomas Flavell & Sons, 19 Waterloo Place, Warwick Street, Leamington Spa, CV32 5LA

Start your day with a nutritious breakfast and engaging conversations with fellow professionals from the local area.

We'd love to invite you to our next Wednesday Breakfast Networking event on Wednesday 1st July from 9am - 10.30am at Thomas Flavell & Sons, 19 Waterloo Place, Warwick Street, Leamington Spa, CV32 5LA

These events give you the opportunity to build connections with fellow professionals from the local area whilst gaining valuable insights from local experts on a variety of thought-provoking and stimulating topics.

Paul Connolly, founder of Connolly Collective, will cut through the noise on what employee benefits actually are, what they cost, and what the evidence shows about their impact on absence, retention, and productivity. Whether you've got nothing in place, a pension and not much else, or a full package you're not sure is working, this session will give you a clear picture of where to start and what good looks like.

Paul Connolly is the founder of Connolly Collective, based in Hinckley. He spent a decade working inside the employee benefits world: for insurers, wellbeing providers, and broker firms before going independent. He now works with small and medium-sized businesses across the UK as their strategic benefits partner: helping them spend smarter, reduce absence, and build packages their people actually understand and use.

Cynthia, the owner of Cafe Desa will on hand to provide a nutritional breakfast to give your morning a healthy start. Recent breakfasts have included tasty treats such as protein balls, carrot cake overnight oats, matcha tea, cold-brew coffee, delicious sourdough with tahini and Cafe Desa's own recipe granola and yogurt.

If this doesn't sound like your usual breakfast menu, come along and have a taste and discover some new favourites!

Join us at 9am for networking and breakfast, Paul will be speaking from 9.30am and we'll round off the session with a further opportunity to network and enjoy more delicious food and ask any questions you may have.

Please note this event will be held on our top floor which involves climbing 8 flights of stairs - we have no access to lifts.

We have a minimal charge to attend which will be donated to our chosen charity for 2026 - Pawprints Dog Rescue.
