Meet our Contentious Probate Specialist

I have recently joined the Dispute Resolution department at TFS from Nelsons Solicitors. I have particular and extensive experience in contentious probate matters including:

• Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975 claims
• Will validity claims
• Claims against Personal Representatives
• Proprietary estoppel claims
• Constructive trust claims
• Trusts of Land and Appointment of Trustees Act 1996

I am also a full member of ACTAPS, the Association of Contentious Trust and Probate Specialists which was established almost 20 years ago for lawyers that specialise in contentious probate disputes. ACTAPS membership denotes expertise in this complex area of law and there are approximately only 600 members throughout the UK and only a handful in Leicestershire and the surrounding area. Being a member of ACTAPS means I am familiar with up to date case law and adhere to a code of practice for solicitors dealing with contentious trust and probate disputes with a focus on Court proceedings being the last resort.
